Bright sunshine and a cold north wind greeted visitors and volunteers. Refreshments returned to the Day Room while the seal watch helped adults and children observe wildlife through the telescope.
Volunteers opened the Telegraph Station and Buoy Master’s Workshop, sharing stories about communication and working life on Hilbre. Informal talks near the old Lifeboat Station covered rescue history, telegraphy and salt production.
